Lucy's Bonnet

Today I went over to my mom's house after she informed me that she wanted to make a bonnet for Lucy's baby blessing on Sunday. Its going to be white, of course, but the special thing about it is it's going to match the blessing dress that my dad was blessed in. This dress has not only been used for my dad's blessing, but was also used to bless my 3 siblings and myself. My sister's daughter Jayleen was also blessed in it, and now we can add Lucy's name to the list. I'm excited and thrilled to be apart of this momentous moment in time concerning my family.

On a cuter note, my mom was searching through her sewing drawers and happened upon a cute, white bonnet that was already made. We tried it on Lucy and this was the reaction we got:




Too big, so my mom decided to go ahead and make one anyway.
