My buff hubby on the kneeboard. That water was freezing!!

Lucy hated her life jacket! But she wore it anyway.

Katie tubing on the lake. That turn was almost a wipeout.

WE had family pictures taken on the day after Christmas and we finally got the pictures back. So wanted everyone to see how cute Lucy is. She was and is happy to have her picture taken.

Christmas 2008

This Christmas was pretty crazy with Sarah, Scott's sister, getting married and then with all the family coming down for the holidays. But everything went well and Lucy had plenty of time to run around with family. On my side the family we took a off road trip through Picacho National Park on Christmas Eve and that was a blast. Here are some pictures from that trip and also throughout Christmas.

Thanksgiving 2008

This year, as part of our contribution to helping out on Thanksgiving Day, Scott decided to deep fry two turkeys. We used a lot of Peanut Oil, but it only took 45 minutes to cook a 20lb turkey!! Here's scoot lowering the turkey into the pot and his dad making sure he doesn't catch himself on fire! Of course I was worried too...
When it was cooked, the turkey not only looked extremely juicy, but tasted juicy too. No seasoning was needed.
